It’s not often I get to see members of the Monkees as much as I have this year. Yesterday, my mother and I drove 3 hours south to a winery outside of Carbondale, IL to see Peter Tork. Neither of us had seen him in more than 8 years, so we were pretty excited. Man, this place was out in the middle of nowhere, though. I got to places on the road where there wasn’t room for two cars at once. If you met another car, one of you would have to pull over to the shoulder to let the other by. And the show was outside! In October! Yes, I thought it was crazy, too. I had no clue it was going to be outside, and I didn’t dress too warm. Silly me. It was a great show, and we had a really good time. And for the first time ever, I got to meet Peter!

I got him to sign a CD insert that Micky and Davy had both already signed. Peter told me that the fourth guy would probably be hard to get.
Yeah, I doubt I’ll ever get Mike to sign it, but three out of four is pretty good, if you ask me. Peter’s going to be in Indy later this month, and I think my mom and I are going to try to go to that show, too.

Wow, that's fantastic! Sounds like so much fun!
