So for quite some time now, several of my friends have been encouraging me to start a savings blog. I’ve been putting it off and putting it off, but I’ve recently started reading some other savings blogs, and I’ve really liked them! So I thought I’d give it a try myself. Sometimes I’m not too good at sticking with things, so hopefully this will go well. So here we are, welcome to my first savings blog! I like to save money. I really like to save money. I hate paying for things. One of my favorite sayings is “only sissies pay for toothpaste.” And I really believe that’s true. I don’t think I’ve paid for a tube of toothpaste in at least a year, maybe longer. I shop at CVS and Walgreens for my deals. Occasionally Meijer will have something good, but I’m at CVS and Walgreens nearly every week. This week at Walgreens, there’s a P&G deal. By 9 participating products, get $20 in Register Rewards(RR). Those are basically coupons good off your next purchase. So here’s what I got today at Walgreens:

Not my best trip ever, but it was almost $30 profit, so I can’t complain. I may go back and get more toothpaste. We’ll see. And to sweeten the deal, I got a Catalina for a free 2 liter of Diet 7Up!
